It’s our final event for the year!
We’re leaning into the spirit of the festive season, by hosting a potluck with a poetry twist. For this event, everyone will be bringing along a poem (or a few!), and adding them to a pot. When the open mic comes along, we’ll all grab a poem from the pot at random, and read it out for everyone.
This is a great chance to hear fresh takes on your poems, give others the same experience, and treat our poems like the gift they are.
Do my poems need to be Christmas themed?
No, but it will be extra fun if they are!
Can I read my own poems?
You’ll need to read at least one from the pot, but after that, sure.
Do I have to read or put a poem in the pot?
Not at all – it’s optional, like our open mics always are. But we’d appreciate it if you do!
