Sometimes you’re writing about it, we’re always writing in it: Poetry has an inextricable link with place. We’re bringing that link alive for our next event. Join us on November 13th in the Marilyn Waring Room, where we’ll have maps, flags, and other iconic images to place your poetry on.

Sometimes you’re writing about it, we’re always writing in it: Poetry has an inextricable link with place. We’re bringing that link alive for our next event.
Join us on November 13th in the Marilyn Waring Room, where we’ll have maps, flags, and other iconic images to place your poetry on. Bring poems about where you’re from, locations that are important to you, or anything place themed (don't worry if you can't bring them, we'll provide pens and paper!).
By the end of the night, you'll have helped us create a wonderful visual montage of this critical poetic theme.
We'll also have our usual open mic sign-ups on the night, to perform your poems and listen to other's performances.
